"I'm blown away by how well Our Time to Learn teaches science concepts that are typically saved until elementary school...It is a truly unique resource, unlike anything I've seen."

Our Time to Learn: "About Me" was a huge hit at our house Ė for both the kids and me...the crafts in the book arenít merely for the sake of doing them; they help your child visualize a concept. Plus, there are no hard-to-find materials. The 27 printables included in the book are not your typical worksheet; they are top notch. Iím blown away by how well Our Time to Learn teaches science concepts that are typically saved until elementary school...It is a truly unique resource, unlike anything Iíve seen.

I really appreciated the open and go aspect of this book. The activities are well thought out with a supplies list of everyday items and regular craft supplies. Plus step by step directions including full color photos... the lessons build on each other so children can learn how all the parts of the body are interconnected. A fun book of games, crafts, worksheets, and activities!

We have had "About Me" in our house for about a week now. I am not exaggerating when I say it is the first thing my 5-year-old daughter asks me about every day, and she wants to return to it several times a day. She loves the activities, the stickers, and the one-on-one time this book provides for us. I love how brilliant it is in its simplicity. The concepts are easy for children to grasp, and rarely does a lesson require enough advanced preparation or materials to prohibit us from doing it right away! We are already eagerly anticipating your next installment. Thank You!!

I love the range of About Me. I use it as part of the structure of my preschoolerís homeschool curriculum. But it could also be a resource to tap into for rainy days, afterschool enrichment, or bored Saturdays. The learning ideas are creative and inventive, while the instructions and materials are simple and unintimidating. It guides your discovery together in a satisfying way. I look forward to the next installment!

While researching preschool/kindergarten science curriculum on YouTube, I stumbled upon a review for Our Time To Learn workbooks. I was very intrigued, as it looked like something that would work for my preschooler. We decided to take a plunge last year, and purchase the "My World" workbook, and I am so glad we did. Personally, as a very visual person, I was very happy to have a supplies list laid out for me in the beginning of the workbook as a list, that clearly showed photos of items I needed for the year. Almost all of the items I already had in the house, which is a definite plus for a busy, on-the-go mom. I felt that the discussion questions were perfectly suited for my son...Suggested books were easily available at my local library and were a great hit not only with my preschooler, but with my 3rd grader too, who by the way joined us for many activities, and thoroughly enjoyed them. We loved the step-by-step illustrations for each project, which made it easy for my son to follow instructions. In fact, a lesson on forces got both of my boys so excited, that we ended up spending a whole day on just forces and motion... We all had a great time, and on few occasions my sons asked to do science. A win!

I have a 9 year old with special needs. We used My World in our homeschool last year. I loved the resource list that accompanied the curriculum. We were never without a pertinent book to go along with the theme.  Our library had all the suggested titles.  We would spend Monday doing a K-W-L chart filling in what he knew about the topic, and what he wanted to learn about it. We  would then read the booklist in the early part of the week, then we would do the suggested lessons, crafts, and activities. I loved how Allison compiled the craft supplies on one sheet so I knew what to gather for the year. She also added pictures, so my son was able to look at the lesson number and know what he would need to complete his activity. I found that a lot of the topics presented in this book overlapped with daily life skills we are hoping for our boy to master, such as sequencing and observing weather. All and all, My World was an enjoyable, educational resource and we look forward to more from Our Time To Learn.

"It has quickly become a favorite part of my 2 little oneís day. My three-year-old son and my six-year-old daughter both beg to do it each day! We have been working through the lessons slowly because my kids want to do EVERY activity that is included in the book. So we usually spend a little time each day on the various projects. Something else I have absolutely loved is that it is teaching science in a gentle way to my young ones. It is not all just fun, but has some wonderful teaching in it, too! And, the work is all done for me. I donít have to plan the lessons, just open & go."
